A New Direction for the Sound of BBC Local Radio
Across the first half of 2020, the BBC’s network of 39 local radio stations rolled out a new sonic brand created by ReelWorld. The new sound re-introduces contemporary sung vocals to the network combined with conversational voiceovers, an updated positioning statement and a brand new six note sonic logo. The sound of the network brand and local customisations will continue to update and evolve over the coming years as part of a long term relationship between the BBC and ReelWorld.
