A new signature sound for Local BBC Radio unites 40 distinct regional stations under a single sonic brand. This ongoing collaboration between the BBC and Reelworld evolves the sound of Local BBC Radio across all dayparts and celebrates the character and individuality that make local radio unique.

As we enter a new decade, BBC Local Radio will sound different. This process is underway. It will refresh the sound of our stations while ensuring they retain their strong local flavour.
