Mike's brother Steve (founder/owner of ReelWorld) asked him to join the company in 2003. Who knew that five minutes of training from his older brother would be enough to set him up for a career spanning more than a decade and one which would reach the lofty heights of CEO!
Before joining us, he was a chef. He learned that an equal amount of creativity, organization and strategy is the perfect recipe for success. Apparently, the recipe worked!
We've grown from Mike being the 7th employee to over 75 and growing. He believes in hiring and associating with people of the highest caliber, who are inspiring, dedicated and humble.
Back in 1994, Erik – along with Steve Thomas – started ReelWorld and is a leading creative force within the company.
His musical journey began at a very young age. His father was a talented musician and would frequently play the piano at home, exposing 4-year old Erik to an instrument he would become intimately familiar with in later life. In addition to his father, he lists Bach, George Clinton, Eddie Van Halen and the Fu-Schnickens as his core musical influences.
Erik lives in Seattle with his wife and four children. When he's not spending time with the family, his interests include fitness, travel, entrepreneurship, cycling, and hiking the Pacific Northwest.
As a kid, Craig sat in his bedroom in Scotland pretending he was on the radio. He always knew he'd work for his local station in Glasgow, Clyde 1. In fact, at the tender age of 19 he became the station's youngest ever host of afternoon drive!
In 2003, he joined ReelWorld as UK Director of Sales before moving to Seattle in 2005.
Since then, his ReelWorld travels have taken him to almost every state, he has been a jock on (and even the imaging voice of) Seattle's legendary 107.7 The End, and he proudly talks about the incredible relationships he has developed with stations, programmers and industry figures across the country.
Armed with an audio engineering degree and mistakenly thinking he was answering a call from MTV’s Real World, Jason joined a fledgling ReelWorld in 1998 as a Syndicated Jingle Producer. From there his role grew alongside the rapid expansion of ReelWorld to include involvement in nearly every facet of the creative side of the business. Still lending his ears and mix fingers to the music department when needed, Jason now functions as ReelWorld’s Creative Director, overseeing our teams of incredibly talented writers, composers, producers, designers and artists to ensure everything we do has the official ReelWorld stamp of approval.
Rob has been leading the development of web and mobile products since his programming career began in the mid-90's. After five years as Director of Information Services at a Screenlife – the company behind the DVD game Scene It? – Rob joined ReelWorld in 2010 to oversee our global tech objectives. Our development needs have grown considerably since his arrival, and under his control we have constantly created cutting-edge products and platforms which position us well ahead of our competitors.
